Equalisation (EQing)
The process of adjusting specific frequencies within an audio signal.
EQing helps improve audio quality by enhancing desired frequencies and reducing unwanted ones. For example, boosting the mid-range frequencies can make voices sound clearer and more natural, while reducing some low end frequencies can eliminate rumble and background noise, resulting in a cleaner and more focused sound.
